    ................should i disconnect the battery to reset the ecu?

    why not, doesn't do any harm.

    but i would drive your car first then disconnect to see if there is any difference, opinion is spilt on this..

    i will be doing mine this weekend.....................

    Yeah, good idea!!!

    Me and Mr GSi3.2 had a right job trying to sort mine out, I had a radio code, but it was the wrong one.

    if yours is a full canbus u dont need the radio code. Mine is an early 2005 model, full canbus and it did not require a radio code upon batttery re-connection

    Oh and yes, I made the airbox mod, disonnected the battery, and IMO, no difference whatsoever apart from being a wee bit noisire now

    Normal day to day running, i dont think it makes a huge difference, but, last Saturday night i was out and about about 2230ish, when its a lot cooler, and it made a hell of a difference then.

    don't know if its full canbus or not. how can you tell?.

    as long as it doesn't effect the ECU or the DPF then I will do it.

    To tell if its full canbus, here is a quote from a thred I posted last month:-
    "if you have the scroll wheel steering wheel, not the one with 6 pushbuttons, then you won't need to enter any radio code.."
