I have look around at lots of tyre review web sites and have picked these for my next tyres

Falken Ziex ZE 512 215/55 R16 93V about £33 each off the internet + £8 fitting at the local tyre place.

These tyres are all season so are good in the wet and winter.

see these web site for good tyre reviews.

I'm running on 225/45/17 Goodyear Eagle F1's, not only have i got a bigger tyre they cost less than 215/55/17. My local dealer is doing them for £83.

I disagree, when i ran Avon's on my old SRi B, they were superb. As Mark say's, a little soft, but the grip in the wet and and dry was superb, couldnt fault them It might be that on a bigger car like a C, they aint much kop, but from my own experience, i rate them highly.

Beware of Falken 512's. Absolute pants in the wet! Not bad in the dry though.
