    confused Idle problem?

Hi everyone, wondering if anyone could help? When say sitting at the traffic lights i can feel a slight jumping feel from the engine, the car drives great its just when its idleing, the rev needle dosnt move up and down and the car sounds fine when idleing[ dos,nt rev high and low] and it only starts to happen when ive done about 15-20 mile. Hope you understand what i mean cause iam not very tecnical. Thanks any help would be great.

KIt seems to be common ghis engine, but I belive it is nothing to worry about, the air control valve might need cleaning though ,but from your expanation I don,t think that is the cause.

Agree with ed, normal for the ACV to get cruddy but that would result in fluctuations of idle (unless its only started doing it)

Does it feel a little like a 'missing' of the engine - this could point towards an vacuum leak

yes it does feel like a missing of the engine when idle, but it drives perfect when moving, and as i say the rev needle dos,nt move and the engine dos,nt rev high/low.

full service and some injector treatment thrown into the tank...if it still misses at idle after that but clears when the rpm is slightly raised then it may be worth getting the idle speed raised by vx by 50-75 rpm as that will ease it..
