    Default wheels need tracking?????

    i had all 4 wheels alined[cant spell] about 2 months ago. that sorted the uneven tyre wear (i hope) but ive since lowered the car 30mm. does lowering it affect the settings. cos i dont really want ****ged tyres again but at the same time i dont wanna pay out £80 for the 4 wheel lazer thingy if i dont need it .. i dont trust them, they will say i need it doin for sure...any ideas

    Don't places like chemix do a free check?? If you get a printout, you can see how bad it is for yourself. This was how it worked last time I went to have my alignment done, but that was a few cars ago! Somebody will correct me if I am wrong.

    thanks for the replys.. i do have a print out so i could compare the new reading to the old ones, as they let you stand by the car as its being done( well i stood there last time and no one told me to move) ill get it checked anyway...cheers

    Since i had my car lowered a few months ago and last week i have just got new wheels and tyres i feel i need a laser alignment to. I hope to get it done first part of next week, but i never relised it cost £80.
    Be interesting to see how you get on Johnboy77.

    There is another post on this subject somewhere,Well worth having done the all wheel alignment,mine cost £50.0 check & adjust on a Hunter system.

    i had the wheels checked again since lowering the car 30mm. only 2 wheels needed ajusting so the guy only wanted a drink for doing it..happy days
