It ain't stating the lap specs, it's just saying it's a laptop, and 2 yrs is a long time to be contracted for if it ain't no good, and if you look at the one they want £69 for it only has 512 of memory.

Not trying to put a dampener on things folks, but I do home network installations and set ups as a part time business.

I'm sure some Orange Broadband customers are perfectly happy with their service, but the past three I have done for customers have been a complete nightmare.

Their tech support is awful. And attempting to resolve problems whether they be enduser/software or hardware related has been nigh on impossible.

Just Google "Orange Broadband problems" before jumping in here for this offer.

Sure, a laptop is a nice extra, but its no use if you cant get online or have a consistent ISP to provide your net connection.

Again, not a "rant" at Orange as such, just something to be aware of.

That's what I was trying to say in a round about way.

    All that glitters etc.

Just to add a bit of balance. We've been with Wanadoo which became Orange for about 4 years. Never had any issues which I couldn't sort myself with a bit of research and never been off line. (Yet )

Currently have the livebox running a PC upstairs along with up to three wireless laptops on a home network which includes liveprinter and free phone calls. BB is actually free because of the missus phone.

However their Tech. support consists of a bloke with a big book with a well thumbed index.

Ironically there is a ton of info on the net because Orange customers have to fix the bloomin' things ourselves.

Been with Orange bb for 3 months. Only one prob and they sorted it quickly. I'm happy, 8mb £5 a month cos of the phone contract.

Each to their own and all that!
