    Default Cambelt Question! Again

When i bought my car recently it had 73000 on the clock.

I asked about the cambelt and the dealer said that it wasn't needed as the cambelt was a chain on this model.

Its a 2002 2.0dti sxi. Is this true??

    Thanks

I am pretty sure the 2.0 DTi is on a chain, my 2.2DTi is chain driven, and they are basically the same engine.

Yes, you have no worries there it is a chain, only need to be replaced if it starts getting noisy, I notice the car has done 70 odd k's, unless you know it's been done at all services, don't use engine flush in it, you will cause yourself leaks and sludge blockages.
