Default Tools for Rear Electric Windows

What tools do I need to fit the looms and regs etc to my rear doors. I have been reading that I need to rivet them on and drill the old manual ones off.

Is this the case, am not so good with things that aren't a nut and a screw

    Cheers

Nowt to be scared of Damian, just drill out the olduns, and compress the new ones in, it's actually easier than nuts n' bolt's.

How do I get the rear door cards off, I have had the fronts off before, but after I have undone all the screws on the rear it still doesn't appear to budge

    Cheers

Have a look at the following thread. it doesnt show you how to do thw window's, but it shows your where the screws that hold the front door card on are.

It will give you an idea where the screw's are for the rear's.

I have had the fronts off before, but they are easier because as they are electric.

I am now thinking that the winder has to come off first to take the back ones off

There is a little circlip type thing behind the winder, you have to remove it first, then the winder shold just pull off.

best thing i found to get the circlip type things off is an old credit card as its quite tight in there and if you slip with a screwdriver through the panel trim you may travel

How are you going to cover the hole in the door trim where the window winder currently is?
