    Default Refund!!!!

Following on from THIS THREAD i've had a phone call from the SAAB Customer Care Manager today with an offer of £200 towards the cost due to the poor advice and messing about i had received.

Not the full £692 but it does soften the blow a bit.

It's not really worth arguing for more as they said that even after 6 months a clutch is a wear and tear item and might not be covered under warranty anyway As my car is well out of warranty i'll settle for it

Well, if you will buy a bluddy Saab, what can you expect!!!

I'd have another push, They must think Saab owners are all minted or something!

It is a goodwill gesture as they had told me to take it to a franchised dealer when they should have said there would be no way it would be covered under warranty.
I have been told it is a final offer and did think about going to the motoring press but it is a lot of hassle for what could be a moral victory and maybe the chance of a bit more.............but maybe nothing at all
