will need to know what wheels u got mate?
Standard 17's??
My 19's lasted about 9-10k but mind u i drove it very hard... even the shoulders wore on mine lol..
17's should be good for about 20k i reckon... someone with 17's will be along later to confirm or deny this
The standard SRi CDTI 150
Comes with 215/50R17
Normally they are Good Year NCT5 91W
Check the batch numbers, some are on recall
However, these tyres are over-priced
So when they wear look at changing to :
225/45R17
Save yourself about 30%
As for wear, you are looking at about 10K miles on the front and 15K miles on the rear, as you swap them from rear to front as they wear
If they stay on the front throughout their life they will last about 12K miles
Thought the modern wisdom on tyres was if you swap them front to back they will wear faster due to the difference in camber, castor & toe in.
I get over 20k from my 18's running Yokohama tyres, happy with that.
17 inch, 20k miles, still agood few thousand miles left, id say ready to change at about 25 k miles ( on the front of mine )
10K out of a set, you must all drive pretty hard.
My 19's on the last Vectra lasted 24500 miles. I fitted Dunlop Sp9000 235 35 19" tyres to the Signum (3.0 V6 CDTi) at 5000 miles, it has just clocked 19000miles and still has half the tread left.
Tyre wear all depends on driving style, there is no reason why you should not get 25000 miles out of a set but again it depends on your driving style.
