What a friendly bunch!

The missus laughs almost as much at the time I spend on my knees cleaning my (SRi) alloys as she does moaning about the amount of time I spend chatting with my "Veccy friends".
Anyway, despite the Vectra being a "mainstream car" I am amazed at the number of times I'm flashed at or waved to by fellow "C" owners - usually (but not exclusively) SRi's. There's a real "enthusists" feel to this. Obviously not during the week (commuting), but at weekends practically every time I go out in the car, I get a friendly wave.
The missus and kids cringe when it happens...........three times yesterday in and around Watford. Was it you?
Keep it up, it makes my day!!!

A morning in the Harlequin eh, Ceejay.......bliss.
I'd been dragged round Costco, Furniture World, Currys, Comet et al.......not forgetting the mind expanding time in Hobbycraft.

I was completely "punch drunk" by the time we hit the Harlequin. No pub for me.....

These are the pleasures of the run up to Christmas, being Santa to our four kids (9 to 16). 'Er indoors has promised me to decorate one of the boy's bedroom, so that's been my day today.......no chance to emulate Payney and clean my wheels. Have you seen the shine on his motor!!!

nice to see my hard work does not go unnoticed.My wife has the same issues about the amount of time i spend polishing the car as she says its her bodywork thats now being neglected
