strange grind noise

this is really strange noise i can only say is a grinding rubbing noise

when i have the cluch down or brake and realease one of them (not sure what one not 100% sure due to being so random) i get a grr noise it sound is really faint but hearable over the radio on low
the noise is really random sometimes it wont do it sometime its on a straight and sometimes on a corner (small roundabout) it is usaly a low speeds less 20 mph but more when starting off after stopping
it sounds like it coming from either the drivers side front or just the the rear this again im not sure i have been trying to play with the clutch and brake trying to make the noise happen so i can try to pin point it but just cant seem to make it happen

im thinking it could be my rear brake pads (maybe sticking or low) but as its so randon im not sure

anyone what to thought a few ideas at me

1 question on the brake pads front and rear is there a sensor to tell you on the dash when they are low?

i have a whistling / rubbing noise once my brakes get warm ! coming from the rear i think ? a dab of the bakes stops it ! but i dont know exactly whats causing it ! does that sound like your issue !?

its so hard to describe the sound LOL its more of a rubbing sound than whistling sound
and now you say it its more when i been on the road for a while rather than straight away

just booked it in garage to change the rear pads as im lazy and i know it was border line on the MOT back in march so wondering if thats sorts it out
