I understand there is a Legoland near London... Has someone been there recently? Is it worth the trip from Belgium?
I promised a visit to my kids, especially my 8 year old son, but Legoland-Billund is 880 km..
Other ideas for visits or child-friendly hotels in that area are welcome too?

    Hi,

Although I have not been there myself, I know plenty of people who have, and they have all said what a great time they had.

    Website is http://www.legoland.co.uk/

Been a couple of time and is very good, your son is just the right age for most of the rides. I would allow 2 days during the school holiday to be able to do everything.

I went there a few years ago when I lived nearby....Its fantastic. Unfortunately it was before digital and I don't know where the photos are.

I remember seeing a full size Ducatti 996 with drilled disks an all.

I remember the Wembly model had the two teams in that years FA cup,

I remember a giant lego zoid that was made of of thousands of small bricks.

I'd go back again Deffinately. Its great for kids and adults. Look into a season pass we got £20 cash back that covered some of our entry fee.
