Corsa problem

Ok, its a total piece of ****, but my sister needs it to work. Its an M reg 1.2 5 door Corsa, head gasket went last week. Head skimmed and gasket replaced, but now she has another problem.

Apparently the car is now misfiring like mad and makes it hard for her to accelerate. Question is, apart from the obvious, like is it firing (which after one hell of an electric shock I can tell you it is - and all seems to be in the right order) does anyone have a good idea what I can do?

Oh, the EML light is also on when revved, but went off when idling.


Any ideas anyone?

what you first need to do is get the code read to find out what it's refering to..one question ...how much did they shave off the head as taking too much can lead to problems as well...any more than 10 thousandths and it's looking bad..
