    Default Broken down.... any ideas.....

Diana has just told me that its not working properly.... well it works but no heat... so nothing is drying ??

    Any ideas...

Indesit IS70C Tumble Dryer - condensing...

    I've checked

    - Power (yes its turned on)
    - Start button (yes it works and starts tumbling)
    - Water Container (is empty)
    - Condenser tray (is clean and empty)
    - Fluff filter (is clean and empty)

but still no heat ?? - its just tumbling wet clothes all day with cold air....

I'll second that VV. The element will probably be fine. Just the PCB. Printed circuit board behind the control's. Maybe it's cover'd on your home insurance.

Could be an internal fuse that covers the heating element?

I work on the catering stuff but they are basically the same.

    1. They should have a self resetting hi-limit but they do go open circuit sometimes.
    2. It has a dual temp button, is it the same on both temps?
    3. It could be the timer not allowing it to heat as the last 10 minutes is a cool setting. If it is stuck the heat side won't work.
    4. Element could have blown.

    HTH.

Unfortunately we live in a throw away society, so it's cheaper to buy a new one matey if it's not in warranty.
