    confused Faulty Right-Hand rotary knob-airflow

Just bought a 2004 1.8 vectra club only to find that this control only works on max i.e 4 to get the fan going. Does anyone have any idea if this is a cheap quick fix or a main dealer(expensive fix).

    Thanks

2004? so it could be less than three years old? Isn't that still covered under warranty?
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

if it only works on speed 4 it could well be the speed resistor, located on the fan motor...

It'll be the rheostat, shouldn't be hard to replace, should it?
