Change all 4 to 225/45/17's, loads cheaper, loads more choice.

My personal faves are Goodyear Eagle F1's. Don't pay more than £90 a corner.

Yep, if doing all 4 deffo put 225/45 17's on. No brainer. I've got Toyo T1-R's and they stick like glue

I've got the Toyo's on my Snowflakes and would highly recomend them.

I'm just about to replace my front tyres, currently 215/50R17 NCT5 XL 95W
Purchased on 23/12/06, having completed :
    9,900 miles on rear
    8,000 miles on front

Swapping the current rears, 225/45ZR17 F1 GSD3 XL 94Y and buying the same
Two for £190 quoted from etyres.co.uk
My local supplier is charging me £180

I used to have those and they are by far the best imo

Ironically, I prefer the Michelin HX MXM, had this on both my Vectra B and Mondeo

Sadly, it looks like the Good Year F1 GSD3 has now been phased out and existing stocks are being used up
Several websites have already removed and replaced them with the latest Good Year Excellence (Assymetric)

On my old SRi Vec B, i used to run Avon ZZ3's, the grip was superb on them, and they were cheap too. Avon are an extremely under-rated tyre IMO.

£89 a tyre on E Tyres, supplied, fited and balanced.
