I run mine at 37psi on the front and 34 psi at the rear anything over this i feel makes the steering over sensitive and increases road noise. I'm running 235/35/19 Toyo's T1-Rs

As a general rule of thumb the pressure should be about twice the rim size. Apart from that try the handbook or have a search on here, its been covered loads
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Vauxhall's official figures for cars running 19" tyres are :-

    Engine Type :-

    Z18 XER
    Z20NET
    Z22YH
    Z19DT
    Z19DTH

All should run 39psi front and 35psi rear for normal load.
All should run 41psi front and 48psi rear for full load.

    Z28 NEL
    Z30 DT

Both should run 42psi front and 38psi rear for normal load.
All should run 45psi front and 51psi rear for full load.

If you have well used tyres on the front and brand new ones on the back, this could explain why you spun. The rears may not have bedded in properly, and with the front well 'run in' can make the make twitchy.
