    Default just done the 3 stage meguiers system...



    doesnt look too bad for my first attempt, when I said I was going to take pics of the car - I had to convince the missus it wasn't going on auto trader straight after.........I dont know women heh..........?

    looks clean ..

    just stage 2 and 3 now to maintain it, and stage 1 in any areas that need it , followed by a 2 and 3 obviously

    what did you use to apply / remove it ?

    used just a polishing cloth to apply it and then used a polishing mit from halfords to take it off.

    took 3 hours to do - but i need the exercise, so I'm not complaining....lol

    thx for the comments - i will put another pic up later on.

    applicator pads and big fluffy microfibres make the job easier and the result that much shinier

    trust me, cash well spent ..

    you'll use less of the stuff to, which has the double benefit of many 'thin coats give better results'.

    have you got some trim detailer to do the black bits ?

    you an get micro fibre's from places like aldi and lidl at a fraction of the cost of megs ones, and applicator pads are cheap enough from the local car acc places..
    as for the black trims i use megs tyre stuff applied with a 1" paint brush for the wheels and an applicator pad for the other bits and bobs and it works a treat...

    you can get cheap microfibres yup... but the megs ones dont leave any marring in the clearcoat, and require almost no effort with regards to product removal ..

    I use aldi's large mf's for the windows, door shuts and alloys ..
