Any solution for water running into boot?

I'm sure i've read about it on here, but cant find the posts. I thought there was a solution to this problem. Basically ever time I open the boot after it's rained water pee's down the left side and into the boot. Only way to stop it is to hold the boot partially open till the water drains out, then open fully.

Poor design tbh.

yep, poor design..holding the wiper arm up helps it a little bit, but i always sweep the water off the screen by hand first.. should i be doing it on a car that cost £26K when new ...not really...

got my old man designing a thingy to put next to glass and make the water run off at the rear/top of the tailgate, will keep you posted if he gets anywhere with it

Don't open the boot when it's wet ??? Maybe that would work.

i keep a megs water magnet in the glovebox for just that reason.
