    confused VXR rear insert.

went to fit my one of these last night but it wasnt having it unless I took the bumper and forced it in... any ideas as how to get it in without breaking the flimsy thing? also I think I have to remove a carrier from either side!?

if it been painted use a stanley knife and scrape the paint off each clip, bit of a pain but should make it easier, try to put something between body and inside of bumper so u can apply a bit more pressure without the bumper flexing
    hope this helps

that helps Mr Z, was thinking about sanding it down abit.. trouble is the bumper and the insert have both been sprayed seperate colours so could be excess paint in the actual inserts.

yeh sounds like it, i found that the bumper was really flexing when i push the trim into it then when i packed it out it clipped in really easy

yea saw yours Tag. looks good mate. I have to smooth down the clip in bits of my bumper and the clips on the insert ( fun) then pack some card boad or similar behind the bumper.

Why do you need to do that? as mine was all painted over the clips and i still clipped it in without having smooth them!!
