Crunching sound over bumps

As per title, I'm getting a crunching noise when going over bumps.
And before you ask, I've already search through the forum and read other people's experience of this noise.

It's either the front spring mod, shock, or anti roll bar bushes?

Now I know the front shocks/springs are fairly hard to change, so I'd get the parts and take to a garage if it was them, but what are the anti roll bar bushes? and how would I check each of these to see what the cause is?

I also read on a thread that the anti roll drop links could make the car not handle as good round corners etc, if they need replacing? They are quite cheap, but how are they at replacing? Is it a DIY or garage job?

You can add some grease to the base of the springs while you do the spring mod....is not the best solution but it helps quite well

I would have said Springs/Shocks.

Mine was making nasty sounds like that, i had the suspension changed and now it doesnt.
