Default Duff CV, Hub or other?

Right Ive just started to notice a noise coming from the front passenger side wheel area. Its an oscillating dull sort of tap/thud which can also be felt through the pedals and floor pan. Its not gear specific and seams to get louder if I turn away from the affected wheel. Any ideas guys.

Did a search for CV Joint and it came up with your original thread and Marks advice on how to fit it. Is it a nasty job? The way he described it it didn't sound to tough?
