stupid stupid stupid question- 3.0dti badge

Hey,

This is probably a really thick question, my 53 plate siggy 3.0 diesel only has the 3.0dti badge on the back... I thought all the 3l diesel siggys were Cdti and v6 (as per parkers)...... or did they do a revised version?

If so where can I get a v6 and 3.0cdti badge for the beastie!

All the 3.0's i've seen have just got V6 CDTI on the back. This should be easy enough to get hold of from any vx dealer.

Didnt think thr CDTi's were out on a 53, or am i thinking of the 1.9 CDTi's???

Methinks someone has debadged it and then re-badged it wrong! I'm sure there was never a 3.0 DTi.

well parkers, my insurance company and a lot of google results say that a non cdti 3.0 doesn't exist, however some google results return just 3.0dti.... I am just damn confused by it all!
Am I correct in thinking that the C is for common rail?

I don't think it has ever been de-badged!

hehe it says 3.0 dti on the back, it goes like hell and anywhere I have ever bought up the numberplate says it is a 3.0 Plus that what Vaux had it down as on the service sheet

ahh yes but I was hoping it was a common rail for obvious reasons!

I believe the early 3.0 had DTi (even though it's a CDTi) - then they changed the badge later on. You can just get the newer one from the dealer.
