Flip Key Information

Hi,

just managed to get hold of a 3 button flip key for my Vectra. It is not new but has never been used (ie it has been cut).

Does anyone know if I can get the blade replaced and programmed for my car? If so where as VX Dealer near me says no!!

he says no cos he wants u to buy it off him.

take key cutting place with your original key get it done there then take to dealer for tech2.

Damn!!!! Hate having to pay Stealer prices!!! Ah, well........

Will a standard key cutter have the blanks for this type of key tho? This one has already been cut.

Managed to get a blank from Bulgaria of all places, got it cut and damn!!!! The cutter cannot remove the blade as it appears that after removing the pin it is welded in!!! Anyone got any ideas before I give up?
