    Default Front seat belt removal

    hi all

First let me thank the group for it's help! I read past articals and I sorted out my cdr 2005 radio/cd problems.

OK! here is my current problem - What tool do I need to remove the n/s front seat belt housing? I have got a new one but the nut that holds it looks like it needs a special romover!!!!! again.

    Thanks in advance

    Kel

As a side issue is there anywhere in the blackcountry area that can put my car on test (computer) at a reasonable cost because I know that if I go to a dealer i'll get no change out of £200 (experiance). Because the air bag is lit on my instrument panel. While i'm on..... I have intermitant problem with my cruse control, sometimes it will not work!

My car is -vectra 1.8 club, saloon, 52 plate. It's nicer with a boot!

the nut that holds it to the door pillar is reached through a hole in the B pillar thats blanked with a black cap.. what you need to use is a 13mm tube spanner, that will get over the plastic nut guide spigot..then the one on the seat is just a standard torx, as is the top mount..

if the airbag light is on, try wiggling the wires under the seats as they are usual favorites to trigger the system into faulting.....

cruise control problems are usually caused by the clutch pedal spring failing to return the pedal up high enough, and then failing to close the clutch switch..

Yep broken clutch pedal spring would cause your CC not to work, there is a modified part from VX. Do it asap as it will also wear your clutch. Had same problem on my 52 SXi
