    Default Tyre Pressure

I checked the tyre pressure on the car about 4 weeks ago and 3 of them were spot on apart from the driver side rear, which was down to 16.5 psi. The manual says for my car they should all be 32 psi so i pumped it up to 32 and that was fine. Checked them again tonight and found the same problem with the same tyre.

Is this just down to the car being used everyday or is there a problem with it? It only seems to be that tyre as the rest are always unchanged........???

there's a small leak somewhere, so get it to a tyre centre and get them to look at it, it could be a leaky valve or a leak on the rim...they will find it for you..

Sounds like a puncture or leaking valve or something. Go down to your local tyre place and get them to check it out.
I had the same thing the other week with one of mine, was losing 3-4psi a day. Got it off and it had 2 nails in it. One was repairable the other wasnt as it was too close to the edge, so the tyre was scrap.

    That's all i need!!

Got a screw stuck in the front passenger side wheel a few weeks back, went to kwik-fit who quoted me £155 for a new tyre, told them to shove it. Managed to get it plugged for £10........

They are all Bridgestone 215/55/R16 and it's a 2.2 Direct Life.

Just went out and had a look, can't see any obvious signs and I do around 1000 miles a month and it hasn't went completely flat since i last checked...

The very first thing they asked me was if the car was a company car or mine, as soon as i said mine they went "Na, cant fix it, new tyre £155"

Showed it to 2 guys i know who fix them, said they were talking sh!te and that could be plugged. Got it plugged and hasn't even lost the slightest bit of pressure in about 6 weeks!

This ones a bit of a puzzle. I'd say it's been at least 2 months since i last checked them.
