Road in the top of Scotland have to rate among my favourite driving roads in the UK.

From Oban , across the A85 to Crianlarich, then down the A82 running parallel with Loch Lomond to Tarbet, then down to Dunfirmline. Then there's the A83 from Inveraray to Campbeltown. Superb roads, although its been a few years since i have been up there, probably littered with Scamera's now!

However, my favourite roads of all time have to be in Switzerland, they are just awesome. Round by Lake Geneva, going down towards the Italian Border on any of the different routes south are just brilliant!

Locally its around the West yorks/North yorks border (Otley, Harrogate, Skipton)
But the best driving roads have to be the one In Total Vauxhall and the one Bigman mentioned, Leeds to Cambltown, what a drive, some great cambered corners and stunning views.

    France.

Wide open spaces, interesting little towns, Better weather, more laid back.

Just a shame they drive on the wrong side, but even that's easy enough to adapt to.
