    Default Is it just me?

Do n`t know if it`s just me but sometimes i drive my CDti 150 and it feels like there`s enough pull to take your face off but sometimes it does n`t give me the kick im expecting.I`m sure it IS just me because i`ve had this with every car i`ve ever owned. Was just wandering if anyone else gets the same feeling sometimes?

P.S wander if an 888 remap will help

P.P.S Here`s a pic of my new pipes

Ambient temperature and humidity affecting your cars breathing...?

Compare a warm wet day, with a cold dry night!

I had this with mine, eventually it got to the stage where it was really noticable & after talking to other guys on here I thought there must be a problem.

Then, I followed Spoons from this site to a meet, (who had the same engine & tuning box as me) & literally couldn't keep up, his car was twice as quick as mine so I knew there was definitely a fault.

I took it in & they found the problem, the infamous swirl valve!

They fixed it & I was shocked at the difference, the car was way more powerful & consistent.

Now there is only a small variation in the performance depending on the temp etc, but its quite subtle, it feels more to me like the car has to be pushed a tiny bit harder to accelerate the same.

I notice the difference as well... on a really warm day, when the engine is really hot, it feels asthmatic....

    It goes something like this.....

2 degrees, Wet roads = animal unleashed
8 degrees, wet roads = hilarious, seriously makes you laugh....
2 - 8 degrees, dry roads = great fun.... best results on these conditions..
20 degrees, dry roads = slightly lethargic
30+ degrees, dry roads = slightly asthmatic

Thats why I would like an Intercooler fitted
