As above - no difference between facelift and pre-facelift. They are quite sensitive though, when you start to return the steering wheel.

The indicators were the single most irritating thing when I got mine (apart from the continuous whining noise from the passenger side) and have really annoyed a lot of other people who have had a vectra as a hire car as well. However, it is amazing how quickly you get used to them and it is just one of those ideas that were simply ahead of their time. Noted now that the frod focus does the same but with more physical movement of the indicator stalk

When i first got my Vectra, i just couldnt get used to the indicator's, i was forever turning them off, or on when i was trying to cancel them, must have been a right laugh for those behind me!

You can always tell the ones who have never driven a Vectra C before though, they are the one's dancing with the indicator's!

You get used to it, then you drive a car with normal indicators, and forget to turn them off on motorways!!!!!!!!!!

They should work correctly as mentioned above.
However, there is a problem with Vec indicators whereby they can cancel by themselves as you turn INTO a corner, even though you gave them a FULL push. I had this on my old 04 plate Vec and a facelift SRi that I test driven about a year ago and its really annoying . If this is happening then get it back to the dealers as its probably a faulty CIM module.

I found that when I was setting mine to FULL ON on approaching a roundabout, they switched off
This would result in me having to keep it pressed down to proceed through a roundabout

    I reported mine as faulty
    No fault found
So I took the Service Manager out for a short drive round three roundabouts
"Hmm, that's unusual it shouldn't do that"
The dealership had the car for 24 hours, and both sets of keys
The car was returned with a new CIM module
I then went on the same route, and the problem still exists

I hae therefore opted for the BMW version of the indicators...
