The first reaction of someone is to think like that due to the constant ...don't say it you might offend ... stuff going on, anyone thinking I posted this for anti black reasons would be greatly mistaken, just like reading a book, two different ppl can read the same book and get two different stories from it, if one were to read it like this.... white ppl used to try to kill black ppl but now the black guy is so good the white ppl can't keep up....would that sound like a gripe, a tribute or a fact?

My first reaction, as a linguist, was that it was a clever play on words, whereby 'chase' is used in two different contexts, the first intending to do physical harm, and the second not. Not the slightest bit offensive IMO
