    i am looking for a v6 cdti but am having trouble finding a good one , so i am now going to look down the 1.9 route.is there much difference between the two of them?????

    Motorpoint www.motorpoint.co.uk and Hilton Garage http://www.hiltongarage.co.uk/ both are listing that they have cars available.

    Derby may be a bit of a hike from Medway, but I can't praise Hilton Garage highly enough. If they've got a car you're interested in, I would put money on it being a quality one, well presented and up to scratch.

    As for the difference, the V6 is a nicer drive, much more driveable with no dead spot below 1800 rpm. Not much quicker really and the 1.9 is much better on fuel. about 6-7 mpg better possibly more.
    The V6 is more reliable because if you get a bad 1.9 its a very bad one, if you get a good one its no problem.

    well have just spoken to another vx dealership and he has got a 55 plate sri for sale with 19,000 miles.he wants 11 grand for it.and it is a v6 which is what i have been waiting for.its an estate. i did really want a hatch but its got to be worth a look.does this sound overpriced????

    Don't compromise on what you want, just because it has an engine option you are after. If you want a hatch, buy a hatch not an estate. You will find a hatch if you look.
    I guarantee you will regret buying the 'wrong' the car.

    well i had a look at it and it is in very good condition.but it seems to have lost its twin chromed pipes.did they change these cars between 04 and 05????i looked at a 54 plate and the spec seemed better or is it just me???
