How many of you are sick of Top Gear getting complaints by do-gooders?

Every time there's a new series someone complains about the stuff that gets done on it. I think it's a fantastic programme and the last series was hilarious! Especially the challenges that get set when they test out the cars they have bought, or made!!

I must admit to nearly turning off half way through the first programme of the new series (just started airing last series over here in OZ last week - the second one is on tonight)

a soft top espace? I ask you - getting a bit silly I think?, the swedish sports car being used as a nicotine replacement for JC etc etc

I think its lost its plot somewhat - just turning into the rest of 'trash TV '

It was great when they had a balance between fun stuff and serious reviews etc but I think its gone right off the boil now

Capt Slow has his own show airing soon, looks quite good from the trailers I've seen.

I think they know it has too, a few comments JC made in the last series suggested he was fed up with all the silly antics such as the reliant shuttle!
Hopefully the next series will be back to basics.

I thought it turned crappy a long time ago.

I also think that program makers have a DUTY to not damage wherever they are filming.

Be that in a citycentre or in a great wilderness that WILL take decades to recover from. The one mentioned here is a salt lake that dried up many, many years ago and was perfectly wild.

People's 'entertainment' should not come before spoiling areas of significant ecological interest.
