Whats the difference 2.2 and 2.2 direct??

Iv got a 2003 2.2 sri, now on the facelifts they are 2.2 direct, whats the direct all about and is there much difference

The direct has about an extra 10 bhp and better MPG. Mechanically they are more or less the same.

Can i fit the twin exhaust system from the direct to mine?

aslong as you get the right parts and the rear diffuser thingy it should bolt straight on matey !

Sure can mate, The hangers are all there you just need the rear insert for the twin zorst.

and they made a 3.2 with twin outlets where the tail pipes were hidden ! alot cheaper than getting an SRI/GSI one ! just ahve to have two tailpipe finishes welding on , which means you can chose ones you really like and not the boggo VX ones !!

A direct injection means that the fuel is injected straight into the cylinder, this ensures a cleaner more efficient burn therefore maximising fuel economy and increasing power.
