Nice one Steve...... FYO, in this context 'no dudes en contactarnos' means 'do not hesitate to contact us', but you guessed that didn't you

Steve was referring to an Argentinian website http://andyvec.com/home.htm (the site name is your Vectra-C.com moniker), and which is written in Spanish and which contains the phrase 'no dudes', which has a completely different meaning in Spanish than it has in English. Think Steve is implying that 'dudes' would not be welcome visitors to the site..... hence 'no dudes'

As a linguist, I find it funny. Nothing sinister or spooky or strange.......

    Yep that was it.

Anyway Andy How are you getting on with me exhaust?

Bloomin' car is going back to the dealers. They've damaged the Power Steering sensor when they took the bumper off

I should hope so. I speak fluent Spanish, and teach languages.

    On a slightly different tack:

    Q. Why was the last version of the Cavalier called Vectra in Europe and especially in Spain?

    A. Because 'cavalier' comes from 'chevalier' in French, which would be 'caballero' in Spanish, meaning 'gentleman', which in Spain is often used in the plural on the doors of male toilets.

How would you like to drive down the road with 'GENTS TOILET' visible on the back end of your motor?

Similar: The NOVA was called CORSA in Europe as 'NO VA' means 'doesn't go'

    Try this:

The Mitsubishi PAJERO (grey import version of the SHOGUN) is not called PAJERO in any Spanish-speaking country or in the United States because in Spanish PAJERO means 'WA*KER' . In those places it is called MONTERO. Imagine driving around Spain with that word in large letters on your spare wheel cover
