Default Counting the days, new Signum coming 24/10/05

    Greetings all

I am glad to say that I have just received confirmation that my new Facelift Signum 150 Elite will be delivered to my house this coming Monday.

I cant wait, I must admit that I will be sad to see the back of my Sri Vectra C when she goes on Monday, at present I am working in Kirkaldy, so I am travelling about 380 miles a day and enjoying every mile, this car has doen me well and I can only hope that the new Signum will live up to the standards I have become accustomed to.

I will take some pictures of the old and new and post them as soon as I can.

    Regards sent

    Steven

That's excellent mate. Look forward to the piccies. I haven't seen the new Signum except in the Vauxhall ad. Looks superb in the metallic graphite in that ad.

    Hello Bainie

I sure would like to take the Signum to the Dundee meet, your right it is great timing. I have been travelling the back road with my Sri Vectra in the last month, so I now look forward to see how the Signum handles it.

I will need the meets details.

the elite will scare the cr*p out of you when you first give it some on the bends. I nearly fell off the road the first night i got mine after trading in the sri. They dont like high speed bends, put it that way. (I didnt think there would such a gulf in handling between the two)

But, the leather, the heated seats, the dual climate control all make for a very pleasent journey, especially if your doing so many miles.

    Thanks for the warning Andy

I have opted for a set of 18" boots on the Signum and this affords me to get uprated suspension, so I was hoping that the handling would not be too different. I do however look forward to getting to know the new car, and like you so rightly mentioned, all the extras will make it a more enjoyable drive.

    Regards sent
