Temperature Gauge

Hi all

Just after some help as i noticed over the weekend that the temp gauge in the veccy wasn't working......i noticed that it usually didnt get to optimum temp for at least 6/7 miles but after doing 40 miles the thing still hadnt shifted.

Anyone have any ideas? I am absolutely not techinically or mechanically minded so if its over to the garage then so bit it

check two things first. Under the bonnet make sure you've still got water in the expansion tank. Just do a visible check and dont undo the top if the engine is hot. If the water level is ok it could be just a loose wire to the temperature sender in the engine bay..
