Default What do you do with all your replaced parts??

    As the title says.

When you Modify your car, what do you do with the bits you take off, do you keep them, do you bin em, or do you flog them on ebay??

I like to keep everything, so when i go to sell the car it'll be back to standard. Its never easy trying to selling a modded car.

All my bits are in the shed. should i sell or when i sell the motor i can put back all the origenal bits and sell all the expensive stuff. The grill ,wing mirror covers are worth a hell of a lot more than the origanal gear. If you chop the car in you will get nothing for the mod's.

As above. Bar my 17" wheels which would have taken up too much space to have sat around (they were sold which also partly funded the 18s) all my other bits front/rear lights, grilles, side skirts etc. are in the shed and garage so that when I sell the car I can revert back to standard and sell the modded parts on. Some parts will inevitably have to stay on the car - Irmscher suspension, sports exhaust etc. but if I can't sell the car privately and trade it in, I'm certainly not giving the dealer all the modded bits that I can easily swap back over.

Keep 'em! When you sell it they won't do much to enhance the car's value if they're cosmetic, but you more than likley recoup some of the original cost back if sold separately. A veccy with an irmscher grill is worth x at resale with and without that grill, but if sold separately you'll get x + y (where y >= 0 ).
