Foot symbol is to remind you that you can't shift the box out of park without having your foot on the brake pedal.

Great looking car, but what's happened to the drivers seatbelt?

Nice, and looks in good nick too.

Being a Design V6 it'll have a few extra bits above a normal design, like ESP and other stuff I can't remember off the top off my head. (ESP is basically an advanced Traction Control to make sure you go around corners and not off in a straight line! lol)

not too sure about the extra seatbelt clip, but im guessing its so the guy can drive around without wearing a seatbelt and the lights on the dashboard shouting at him for it

Yep, I reckon so too. Being an 04 it will probably still have the chimer too.

Foot symbol will light up red - when it does it is saying you can't shift from where you are until you put your foot on the brake, as Andrew's SRi says. This will also happen if you stop and put the drive in Neutral - light goes on after a few secs. Light goes out when you press the footbrake.

Has a few other safety items to watch for on the Auto, as in it will not allow you to remove the key from the ignition unless you are in Park.

Yes you can use the +/- to shift up/down the box in a kind of semi auto fashion. I don't use it much but it can be useful if you are waiting for an overtake and want to keep the revs in the right place rather than use kick-down.
