Justwatched Panarama about a couple who had 3 kids forcebly adopted. They fled to Ireland to have a forth but were forced to return. This was because of a susption of abuse on the second child who it now turns out had scurvy.

The scurvy was caused by the child being on a soya diet because of a dairy allergy.

The whole story is here:

I feel sick cause our son was until recently also dairy intolerent and was ona soya/rice milk diet. I feel so much for these guys and wonder if that could have been us. Thankfully he's outgrown the alergy now but this has made me think.

I don't like social services in general...I needed them before my mum died last year and they let us down. This has really wound me up.
