    Default 150 or 120?

Hi all, ive just bought an 04 plate Sxi CDTI. I believe it is the 150 version as its got the red CDTI badge on the back also. however, on the insurance details which i got through today it says 1.9d cdti 120?

Is there a way of finding out which verison it definately is?

    Cheers

the oil filler cap..if it's on the right of the engine, it's a 150, if it's on the left, near the air filter box it's a 120..

also, the logbook/V5 will tell you, the insurance co have prob got it wrong anyway..

How would this leave the insurance for claiming? Isn't it the wrong spec? Anyone know if this would cause a prob, I mean, insuring a 120 but it being a 150?

it would mean they would take your money but not give you any in the event of a claim.

As they ask you to check that all details are correct I would say that the car would not be covered.

What does it say on your V5? I doubt they will see it as their fault as you are supposed to check it and sign it as true. They may be understanding though

Not sure, im waiting for the new one through. How is someone to know what power the car is producing though? they have taken all details from the reg plate so it is an error from there end.
