Have you had the screen changed? Anumber of people have had problems with the sensor and also the rain sensor. Take it in under warranty.

Same thing happened to my Signum after the screen was replaced. Didn't have chance to get it sorted as it was sold a couple of days later
Why they can't replace a screen and leave everything working properly after is a mystery

I had the same with RAC windscreens, they ran a knife around the old screen to loosen it and sliced straight through the wiring loom to the sensor and mirror. dealer had to fit a new loom that runs right round the roof lining to a plug coupler in the boot. windscreen changed dec 06, RAC agreed to pay for a repair (after many letters)feb 07, 3 days in the dealers to find the part no (cos there are 12 different looms?) then roof put back together as said loom is on back order, called to say part finally arrived a few weeks ago, now fixed!

    Do not use RAC windscreens.
