2.2 petrol not fast?

Hi
Just got my wife a 04 sri 2.2 petrol vectra c very nice car all the kit but
she has had a v6 vectra b for 7 years and a v6 cav 3 years before that,
the 2.2 just has not got the power wot do you guys think i sould do to make the c feel a bit more like the v6

the sad fact is, that unless you spend 1000's on it, you will never make it feel like a Vee..

..we've also had a V6 Cav and V6 vevvy B's,so when Mrs GSi bought her old 2.2 auto veccy C she had to push it hard to get any performance out of it..she swapped up to a signum V6 and now loves it..

If you have to keep the 2.2, then i suggest an exhaust system, airbox mods, courtneay cylinder head and cams, and a remap..that should see you to 190BHP, but it will come in at around £2.5K

my first C was an 18 undred ! nippy enough ! a chip , filter and airbox mods will make it alot better ! though i sometimes wish i'd bought the 2.0 turbo !!
