    Default Concert for Diana......

    .......anybody watching this today?

Some of the acts just cannot sing live but the boys have put together a really good mix of entertainment.

Some moving moments too, she was born a week before me............Sadly missed.

the acts so far have been dire, even status quo proved theres been a lot of water under the bridge since live aid, and that is coming from a fan, so far the best bit has been the pics of her and the boys laughing at their minders at the waterslide

Anyway, Has Fernando Alonso got the hump with Mclaren and taken up acting and singing? Only ask 'cos he's on stage with Jason Donovan and Donny Osmond now?!

Larisa and me are watching it, her lads have put on a very good "do" for her, I think she would be proud of them. Did any one see them on the TV last night talking to a "yank", it was very touching, they are so grown up now, and have turned out to be two bvery nice young men, The royal family should take note, these lads are the future crown, they I hope will make us all proud.......... well done lad,s.
PS I can not help but to think that this is the "place to be seen" though..

It's a shame Harry wasn't born first, I'd love to be in the room when he'd be accepting a new PM.

I tend not to watch live gigs like this on the telly any more but I did see some of this.

I spent some time as a sound engineer in the music industry. Unfortunately TV mixing doesn't do justice to the live performance. I always cringe at TV sound reproduction.

Live vocals are always worse cause theres no post production. If they sound just like the CD they could well be miming. I must admit, some of the peeps I saw were particularly bad.

I was for a good cause though!

I only watched it on and off, thought it was pretty good with a fantastic line up even if some of them are now well past their sell by date. However the comedy duo at the end doing the closing address, well what can I say. I just sat there cringing and wanting the floor to open up and swallow them.

Yes the two princes are who I am on about. They did not have a great deal to say so why refer to crib cards? One of them is going to be king, I accept that they are young but they are not "normal" kids are they. Not only that but they are fully qualified commissioned officers in our fine army and are therefore leaders of men. To do that more confidence and the ability to project "one Self" is required.

Mind you that said, I prefer the fact they did it instead of a couple of stooges like Ant and Dec.

I enjoyed Bryan Ferry and Duran Duran. The ballet was just, well, odd. Ricky Gervais was working hard, but I'm not sure why.

    And isn't Elton John short?
