Default 12 Volt power point in boot

One of the things I miss in my car is a 12 volt power point in the boot, in my last car I found it really usefull for powering a mini fridge when going on holiday. I have a SRI hatchback and wondered if anyone has fitted a power point in the boot and if so how did they do it and was it easy. I know the some of the estates have them so hopefully it can't be to hard.

Easy m8, accessory socket from Maplin £4.99 a bit of decent wire and connect to the 40A supply in the rear fusebox! Job done in less than 1/2 hour

Is there a spare space in the rear fuse box?

Ok Just had a look and can see a spare space, but how do I get the fuse box out to wire the socket in?

You don't need to m8, fit the wire with a male 6.3mm end and it slots in to the spare space next to the 40A fuse

Or in this thread. I have made the rear socket permanent live too so there are two terminals being used. HTH http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showth...ghlight=socket
