Shame, as it looks like people like Kitchpoo booked time off especially.

u har mrs no problem with my ring

the dates have changed because they are the only ones me and the mrs could get off
as for the actual dates at the ring they wont have them until the end of feb (so the woman on the phone told me a couple of weeks ago)
personally i think this is a bit of a non starter but we will see.
ive already booked the ferry and iam going anyway

right then guys and gals

the plan is
to travel down friday the 21st july and stop in dover for the night
catch the ferry at about 8.00 ish next morning and arrive in calais about 9.30
then spend the saturday traveling to the ring
saturday nite at the ring camping or if you prefer hotel (i will be camping)
then sunday or monday having a leisurely drive around the track
then monday teatime head off home (i will be off to france and germany)

Thats sad cus I was all ready to put my name down, now I notice its changed to july, anyone fancy still going in August could always arrange another one for people who can't make July like me as I shall be in Scotland that weekend

paul i'm not getting anything for an 8am ferry from dover on saturday 22nd july, either early morning (4.30) or closer to noon (11.45).

looks like i'll have to catch the earlier one and meet you across the water.

how long do you reckon it'll take to get to the 'ring, what sort of mileage are we looking at?

is nobody else interested in this...i thought people would be well and truly up for it!! surely its more fun than running the strip at santa pod!
