    Had T1S's then T1R's on my Bora. They were excellent, wore a bit quicker than other tyres but really good fun, you could tell they offered more grip.

    I'll be putting them on mine when the Turanzas wear down

    I've tried T1-Rs in

    235/45 - 17
    225/50 - 17
    225/55 - 17

    All good but the 235s give too much road feed back, causing stearing difficulties in the slow lane where the trucks have made tram lines.

    eg-

    yes i did and it caused loads of problems or yes i did and they were great.

    or

    no i didnt, i fitted dunlops and they were great.

    So basically you just want a recomendation of a good tyre! Why didn't you just say so!. Toyo's are a good tyre mate. Fit them, no worries. Just a bit soft for my liking.
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    dont worry m8 - thats not what im after.............

    To answer my own question - the toyo that i bought was faulty - it was misshaped.................

    thats why it was effecting the steering.

    That can happen if its not picked up in the factory. Did they issue you a free replacement?

    yes and no - i had to buy 2 new ones and then send them back for warranty........i had to borrow the extra cash off the missus to buy two more.
