    Default Irmscher chrome bits.

    Morning all.
New Vectra owner looking for advice.

I have seen a number of styling parts for my 3.2 GSI, grills etc but I was wondering if anyone had added the chrome stuff i.e. wing mirror covers, door handle covers etc and if so what do they actually look like in the flesh.

I intend at some point (if I get my bonus!) to get the usual grill, exhaust, wheels induction kit, new ICE etc but I don't know whether the wing mirrors and door handles will complement the current chrome trim or make it look tacky.

You experiences and pictures would be appreciated.

    Russ.

I think you've made my mind up. It's got to be done!

I must say there are some stunning Vectra's amongst those pictures.

No offence to anyone out there but I'm really glad I got a black one. A ****** to keep clean but when they're freshly polished they do look fantastic!

The only things I'm not 100% pleased with since I bought the GSI are the rubbish stero system and the lack of full leather. Had a fantastic Infinity speaker/amp/sub set up in my Mondeo ST200 driven by a nice Sony CD/MP3 head unit and it sounded absolutley fantastic. It also had heated electric full Recaro leather. I'm going to miss those Recaros, they where wipe clean which is handy when you've got kids!!

I've been surprised by how much difference a nice set of wheel make to a Vectra. What do people usually go for, 18s or 19s?

And I liked the quad tail pipes on the GTS in those pictures. A bit over the top but smart! Where did those come from?

Questions Questions!! I think I've got the bug, now I just need the cash!

Just been looking at the rest of the various track day photos - wow.

When done well the Vectra C looks fab in any colour - that red one (sorry, don't know whose it is) is stunning.

So I take it back, although my personal favorite is black, they all look great in red, silver, blue, green etc

Since I bought mine A few of my mates have commented that they look very Audi A4. One friend has just bought an S4 - very nice motor but he paid 4x as much as I paid for the GSI and it certainly isn't 4x the car! Horses for courses I suppose (in his case 340 horses! and £36K!)

I would suggest 19`s as 18`s tend to look a bit lost as the arches are huuuuge, the ride quality on 19`s is still fine, though there are a few 20`s sneaking on the site now !!

I'm afraid it's Vx cutting back on costs to pay for the facelift.

I would personally go for 19's. They're not much more expensive than the 18's and do look sweet.

These are mine mate. I had them custom fitted by Powerflow and can't recommend them enough.
