    Default Blimmin Superstores

Went out for a Sat Nav today, Staples doing the Navman F20 for £99, none in stock, Asda doing the Navman N40i for £169 none in stock or on the shelf, so I see a Garmin NUVI 300 for £98, great I thinks picks up the ticket and goes to pay, we ain't got any mate sorry, over to Tesco, got a Navman 750 box for £159 but nothing else but a this will be in stock soon sign, PC World, 10 on show but only the £250+ ones in stock, Halfords, The F20 is £149, some LG unit that doesn't do cameras and little else that's less than £200.

    Peeved to say the least.

OMG i would of needed a sat nav just to keep up with all the shop's that you have visited today.

It's alway's the way that something you want when you have the dosh is never avalible or like you say, not in stock Theres alway's another day for shopping.

Best of luck and don't get lost

Thx, but they will probably be out of my price range tbh, I'll come by one soon enough, I was gonna have the 750 until I realised it was nearly 2 yrs old and reviewers state it doesn't update itself in a hurry due to a HD rather than a SD card.

Couldn't wait lol, nipped out and got the 750iCN, I figured it was better to get last yrs flagship than this yrs basic, £159 plus they gave me a 5p per litre voucher as well worth £3, tested it on the way back home and it seemed plenty quick and accurate even when I tried to out fox it by going the wrong way.

After having a look at the review again I noticed it's got an SD card slot anyway, and still got a 4 star rating, Europe maps from Portugal to Poland border included as well.

Avoid the Navman F20 like the plague. My mother and a friend both have one and the mapping/routing is very dodgy. Even worse than our works Tomtoms.

So far it's been very good Neil, part of the reason I went for it was it was the top model, the F20 and many other units I looked at looked just to cheap in the quality stakes, I saw an Evesham one last week for £50, nearly bought it until I read up on it and saw the ltd support for it.

How are ya mate, ain't seen ya about for while?
