    Default difference between sri and gsi

    Can anyone tell me whats the differance between a sri and a gsi apart from the engine size. Thanks

    1/2 leather interior is a good start...but the main difference is a PROPER engine fitted..

    My sri has a V6 diesel, i.e. a proper engine

    Your quite right, the proper diesel engines rev up to 5400

    OI!!!!!!! now now young man!!!!!!we will have less....

    1.engine size.
    2.Twin exausts on Gsi(unless it's the direct injection then this has them.)
    3.1/2 leather Gsi
    4.Normally has Zenon Headlights on Gsi models.
    5.bigger stopping power Gsi.(brakes)
    any help.

    3.0 SRi has twin pipes as standard,
    and has the same brakes I believe.
    Also, mine has 6 speed box rather than 5

    When i was in Spain I saw a few Opel Vectra sri 3.2v6

    This is what the uk police use to keep costs down the spec is lower than gsi
    look at police 3.2 and it will have sri alloys and trim not gsi/elite wheels/trim

    Horses for courses as they say for the rpm thing the gsi does not rev that high either imo i'm used to vti honda's which reved to 8500rpm
