Default Vxs new Parking sensor kit. x-vision.

Popped into the local Dealer this week and saw they have a new kit supplied by X vision Parking Systems....£300 fitted

Had a look on the net for info on them but no joy. Any one know of these?

Quick google returned that, not sure if it is the same if you've already searched in vain.

    Brocks,

You can get the proper Bosch kit for less than that from your Dealer. Then it will intergrate with canbus and you will be able to switch it from the button on the dash.

Got a cheap set of ebay less than £30 and they work fine. Make a nice beeping sound when you get within 2 meters, just what I wanted as I must admit that when I first got the "C" a number of times I parked and after I got out had to get back in and reverse a bit more, just could not tell where the back end was. I know it needs washing

Were they easy to fit, and where did you get them from ?

Got it off ebay item #(#250136050947) £15.99 then followed the instructions, easy to fit, you do need a relay though so the bulb failure system still works ok. Plus some paint and laquer. Take your time measure a couple of times before drilling. Didn't even take the bumper off, put plenty of masking tape where you mark it to drill then no prob.

It is fine to paint then. just degrease and a gentle rub with fine emery. Spray with plastic primer a couple of coats. Then the colour you want, again a few coats drying in between. Finally a couple of coats of clear laquer. No effect on the sensors at all.
